Clipmino reads videos you choose, creates and checks the compressed copy on your device, and never uploads video, frames, or audio.
Who operates Clipmino and what this policy covers
Clipmino is a Lakea Tech product published by Lakea LLC. This policy covers the Clipmino Android app and the clipmino.com website.
Clipmino has no accounts, no advertising, and no cloud media processing. Questions and privacy requests go to hello@lakea.tech.
Videos and files processed on your device
Clipmino works only with videos you choose through Android's system picker or share with the app. It reads, compresses, and checks those files on the device. Video, frames, and audio are not sent to Lakea, RevenueCat, or any other server.
Your source video is never changed or deleted. A successful result is saved as a separate file in Movies/Clipmino. Clipmino may copy the selected video into its private storage when Android cannot give the app stable access to the original, and it creates temporary files while an export is running.
Information stored on your device
Clipmino stores the last size limit you used, records of completed exports, your remaining free exports, and the state of an export that was interrupted so it can be retried. Android backup is disabled for Clipmino, so this information is not copied to the cloud by the app.
The app uses file access for videos you select, notifications to show a cancellable progress notice, foreground processing so Android keeps an active export running, and network access for purchases. It does not request access to your whole photo or video library.
Purchases through Google Play and RevenueCat
Clipmino Pro is a one-time purchase offered through Google Play Billing, with entitlement handled by RevenueCat. Google Play processes the transaction under Google's own terms; Lakea does not receive your complete payment-card information.
RevenueCat receives a random anonymous identifier created for your installation, purchase history, and the Google purchase token needed to verify the entitlement. Its service may also process technical context such as device type, operating system, app version, country, locale, timestamps, and IP address. Clipmino does not send your name, email address, phone number, or advertising identifier, and neither service receives your video content.
Website data and cookies
clipmino.com is a static website. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising, social widgets, or third-party scripts. There are no accounts and no forms.
The site is delivered by Amazon Web Services using Amazon S3 and CloudFront. AWS processes standard request data, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, referrer, and user agent, to deliver and secure the service under its own terms. Lakea LLC has not enabled CloudFront standard access logs for this site.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
You can cancel an export, discard interrupted work, delete saved copies in your media library, or clear Clipmino's storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its private files and local records; copies you already saved stay in your media library until you delete them.
To ask us to delete purchase data held by RevenueCat, write to hello@lakea.tech. Google, RevenueCat, payment providers, and applicable law may require some purchase records to be kept. Clipmino has no account, so there is no account to delete.
Security, children, and international processing
Because compression happens on your device, there is no Lakea server holding your videos. The website is served over HTTPS, and app files stay in Android's private app storage until you save an export. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we make no absolute security guarantee.
Clipmino is a general-purpose utility. It is not designed or marketed specifically to children, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Lakea LLC operates from the United States. Purchase, entitlement, and hosting data may be processed by Google, RevenueCat, and our hosting provider in countries other than yours, under their own terms and safeguards. Your video content is not part of that processing.
Changes and contact
We show a new effective date when this policy changes materially, and publish the change before the behaviour it describes is released.
